Creativity vs. Control

In my last post, I talked about a little controversy around creativity v. control.  Carl Kessler, our VP of enterprise content management, and a new co-author on a book on Outside-In Design, took that up and wrote a very thorough piece called "How to Use Web 2.0 in the Enterprise."  Go check it out.

Carl and I will have fun discussing this at our Information On Demand conference's panel on Thursday Oct 18th with Chris Anderson moderating.  Hope to see a few of you there.

ps: Some of you who will be getting the edits on this post would be wondering, what have I edited?  In my earlier version, I had pointed out that Carl's profile in his blog was picking up default "job" as accounting, and default location as Afghanistan, and I had commented that his job as dev VP must make those things feel like true sometime for him.  But then he went and changed his profile, and took away my joke.  Spoil sport!
